About Me

Hello! My name is Ryan Borruso and I am a First Year Engineering student at Purdue University seeking a degree in Multidisciplinary Engineering with a concentration in Theatre Engineering. I plan to pursue a career in live, themed, or theatrical engineering. My years involved with my high school’s Drama Guild have piqued my interest in the intersection of engineering and production design. I want to explore how engineering principles apply in non-traditional settings including theaters, museums, and even theme parks. My dream career would merge the arts with technology in new and inclusive ways, creating accessible environments and experiences that inform and inspire. Studying Theatre Engineering at Purdue will ultimately teach me to innovate and problem solve, leading me to my dream career.
