My experience consists of challenging and enriching coursework, hands-on projects, and a variety of extracurricular engineering experiences.
As the Theming Design Team Lead, I guide my team in ideation, development and integration of immersive elements for a 3D printed roller coaster project for Theme Park Engineering & Design at Purdue.
My job is to incorporate storytelling driven theming into a physical scaled roller coaster. I oversee concept development while coordinating with other teams to ensure cohesive implementation. I collaborate with track, structure, chassis, and lift teams to account for mechanical features, and constraints.
I utilize SolidWorks to develop and manufacture theming for the coaster upper-chassis and surrounding elements.
As a student in Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS), Children's Educational Demonstrations (CED), our mission is to design and create interactive models to engage individuals ages 10 and up, to teach about the science that propels our society forward.
Our team is partnered with The Children's Museum of Indianapolis to motivate children to ask questions about the world around them, stimulate their minds, and get them interested in science as a whole. We are working directly with the Science Port Lab of the museum to create an extraordinary learning experience for children in the Indianapolis area.
Our goal is to provide this center with updated equipment and interactive models so that children may better learn the role that science plays in how the world works.

As a Purdue Engineering student, I chose to take an accelerated course: ENGR 13300 Transforming Ideas to Innovation. This course introduced me to multidisciplinary and societally relevant content. I was able to develop engineering approaches to systems, generate and explore creative ideas, and use quantitative methods to support design decisions.
I gained experience in the process of design and analysis in engineering, including how to work effectively in teams. I also developed skills in project management, engineering fundamentals, oral and graphical communication, logical thinking, and modern engineering tools (e.g., Excel and MATLAB).
