For the protagonist's death scene, he is thrown off of a building. I was tasked with ideating this stage adaptation. We added a haze / fog machine and strobe lights that would blind the audience. The illusion that protagonist had been thrown off of the building was successfully transferred to the audience through the use of these technical effects, mixed with the choreography of the actor flipping over a railing (that I actually got to hold during the show).
In addition to being a Supervisory Crew Member for this production, I got the role of Robby the Stockfish. As a member of the ensemble I sang, danced, and acted.

I was hand-picked by our technical director to participate in our "light-load in." Here, I began to understand how to identify lights including, Source 4's, Fresnels, and LEDs. I learned to read and follow light plots and how to install lighting fixtures. I was taught cable management, running power and data from boom to boom efficiently, while also keeping them unseen from the audience.
