Excerpt from my blocking script
As Stage Manager for our production of Pride & Prejudice, I had the opportunity to design some of the blocking for the show. This allowed me to creatively integrate stage design elements with the actor's movements. Staging this show taught me ways to display visual storytelling through staging. In this role, I learned how to organize blocking, analyze scripts, and communicate between the cast and crew.

As Stage Manager, I also needed to organize and keep track of many different behind-the-scenes tasks and responsibilities. I was able to create spreadsheets to manage attendance, blocking, cues, and information that made the job significantly easier. This allowed me to lead with confidence.

My crew commitment info document
Another aspect of being a Stage Manager is teaching and leading younger kids through the production processes. In order to advertise and inform prospective crew members about specific crew roles, I created this document, distributing them to each crew member. The document contained attendance expectations and a general overview of each position. This allowed me to gather a committed and determined crew for this production.
